RISING BAY
Have you ever found yourself stuck on a simple decision, thinking about it for so long that you ended up doing nothing at all? It’s something we’ve all experienced, probably more often than we realize.
Another Day, Another Chance is a decision-making game that invites you to step into that a character, live as them, make decisions for them and see where your choices might take you. You’ll follow the story of Mr. Thumb, a young adult starting yet another Monday, faced with the little decisions we all know too well, whether to hit snooze, what to eat for breakfast, or which way to go to work.
The game turns these ordinary moments into something playful and unexpected. Every choice you make opens up a new direction, with outcomes that might surprise you, make you laugh, or leave you curious to try again.
Presented in a private arcade-style booth with animated visuals, sound effects, and physical buttons, the game creates a space where you can explore different paths without the pressure of needing to get it right. It’s not about winning or losing, but about noticing how even the smallest choices can shape your day in unexpected ways.
Because sometimes, the most important thing is simply choosing to move forward. So, what will you choose today?

Another Day, Another Chance
The process began with researching how people experience indecision, both in everyday life and in game environments. Through surveys and interviews, I explored how fear of making the wrong choice often leads to hesitation or avoidance. Inspired by game theory and humor-based games, I began developing an interactive experience that makes decision-making feel less stressful. I experimented with different storylines, outcomes, and interaction methods to reflect real-life decision habits. The final design combines relatable storytelling, playful visuals, and physical buttons to create a personal, low-pressure experience that encourages players to explore choices freely and reflect on how they make decisions.
