SQUEEZE: a story about a lime inside the sealed bag
“SQUEEZE: a story about a lime inside the sealed bag” is an animated short film that explores themes of truth, ideology, and the reinforcing nature of content exposure through media algorithms. The film engages with these concepts through a fictional story about a grandfather whose core belief in cleaning revolves around lime.
The story follows this grandfather as he tries to rescue his missing grandchild, who vanished into an alternate reality after an argument over dishwashing methods. In this strange new world, he is led by mechanical hands that expose him to self-reinforcing beliefs centered on lime. The film tackles the dangers of echo chambers, gradually revealing a deeper ideological conflict between beliefs.
